Bulk menu photo upload — for the whole-menu refresh

30 dishes in one upload. One afternoon, not one month.

Sometimes you don't need one new dish photo — you need 30. New menu launch, seasonal refresh, multi-location standardisation. YumMate.app's bulk upload (on higher plans) handles whole-menu workloads in one batch — with consistent style, multi-format output and ready-to-publish results.

Why one-at-a-time uploads break for whole-menu work

  • 30 dishes uploaded one at a time = 30 separate sessions, repeated style choices, inconsistent results.
  • Style drift between dishes when uploaded over multiple days.
  • Photographer-led whole-menu refresh costs €1,000-€5,000 and takes weeks.
  • Multi-location operations need consistent visuals; one-by-one uploads can't guarantee that.
  • Time spent on workflow steals from prep and service.

Bulk upload in four steps

  1. Photograph the whole menu. Phone photo of every dish — typically during prep week. Standard service plating per dish.
  2. Bulk upload to YumMate.app. Drag all photos in at once. The system processes them as a batch.
  3. Apply consistent style. One style profile (Classic, Premium or Gourmet) across the whole upload. Every dish reads as one menu.
  4. Download or push to channels. Multi-format output ready for menu, delivery, social and MenuBoard — for every dish in the batch.

Bulk-upload use cases

  • New menu launches. Replacing the entire menu? 30 dishes in one upload, ready for launch day.
  • Seasonal refreshes. Spring/summer/autumn/winter rotations where the whole menu shifts.
  • Multi-location standardisation. Multi-location operators need consistent visuals across all sites — bulk ensures it.
  • Brand refreshes. Rebranding the visual identity across the menu — process the whole thing once with the new style.
  • Acquired-property menus. Hotel groups taking over a property need to refresh the F&B menu fast.

Real menu, processed in batch

Bulk upload doesn't mean batch shortcuts on quality. Each dish in the batch goes through the same enhancement pipeline as a single upload. The dish in the photo is the dish your kitchen plated — for every dish in the menu.

Bulk-relevant features

  • Multi-dish drag-and-drop. Upload 10-30+ photos at once on higher plans.
  • Consistent style across batch. One style choice applied to every dish in the upload.
  • Multi-format per dish. Each dish in the batch gets 1:1, 9:16, 16:9 outputs.
  • Auto-category sorting. The system sorts uploads into starters, mains, desserts, drinks automatically.
  • Asset library archive. Every batch is archived for future reference and reuse.
  • Bulk download. Download all batch outputs as a single zip when ready to publish.

Bulk-upload questions

Which plans include bulk upload?
Daily Menu (€59/month) and Gourmet (€99/month) include bulk upload. The Breakfast plan (€29/month) is single-upload only.
Is there a limit to batch size?
Plan limits apply by credits per month. Daily Menu covers 18 dishes, Gourmet 35. Add-on credits available for larger menus.
How long does bulk processing take?
Typically minutes for the system to process; the slow step is uploading the source photos. Most batches finish before lunch service starts.
Can I review each dish before publishing?
Yes. Each output goes to your gallery; you choose what to publish, where, when.
Can I re-generate individual dishes from a batch?
Yes. Each dish is independently re-generatable without affecting the rest of the batch.
Does bulk upload support video as well?
Yes. The optional 5-second hero video is available per-dish in batches too.
